Ubuntu One Not Syncing

Asked by Wang Xiaoyun

My Ubuntu One account stopped working a few months ago and I never figured out why. Yesterday, I decided to give it a go in Lucid. In the web interface, there were 2 computers in the device list which actually pointed to the same desktop I'm using while in the preference panel, I saw no computer available.

I removed all the computers in the device list and add my desktop again. This works fine and now I can see the computer in the preference panel and my quota is also visible. However, Ubuntu One still does not sync my files. There are several files in my folders with a syncing cycle and a ! sign on their icons, which are not available in the cloud. All sync'd files have a check mark on their icons.

After I searched through the knowledge base, I got the feeling that there's no way to force sync the files. What can I do and how can I debug the problem?

Thanks in advance.
