Ubuntuone on Lucid

Asked by koont004

Are there steps for getting Ubuntu One working in Lucid? I have a test machine that is running Lucid and has the Ubuntu One package installed. I cannot, however, get any items to sync with my account (don't have the ~/Ubuntu One folder and cannot sync Evolution contacts).

We're currently experiencing some problems with the OAuth service that will prevent you from registering with any of our services properly. We're trying to fix this ASAP.

Thank you,

I'm wondering whether the OAuth issue has been resolved as I have been trying to connect from Lucid to UbuntuOne without any luck.

All was working OK until I removed my machine from UbuntuOne Account (https://one.ubuntu.com/account/) and since I have not been able to reconnect.

Have searched through the Launchpad tickets related to UbuntuOne and tried all suggestions I have found (eg: u1sync --authorize) but without any success.

The only oddity that I have been able to observe is that I have never seen an entry in Keyring for UbuntuOne. Am I meant to see an entry in the Keyring table?

I've run out of ideas and would greatly appreciate some help with this issue as I am keen to start experimenting with the new Ubuntu Cloud service.

Can you help with this problem?
