calendar

Asked by papageno1951

it might be interesting to have in ubuntu one a feature look like sunbird, a calendar in order to access to my appointment from different computer, or to share to friends or colleague my timetable. It should be shared by different groups of user (i.e. my boss shall not see where I go to have a beer ... and by contrary keeping secret corporate meeting) and appointments to be posted copying pasting emails, files, images and so on ... so it might become also a travel diary!

I think this is a great idea. Currently the Ubuntu One team is working on some core functionality as well as the new music store for the upcoming release. Beyond that i am not sure. Of course this does not stop someone else from hacking this :)
keep the ideas coming,

Thank you for the feature suggestion! We currently don't have plans to provide calendar sync and sharing functionality. There are quite a few options available to get this functionality, some open and others less so. If you or someone you know are interested in developing something like this around Ubuntu One we'd love to discuss it with you.

Thank you,

Joshua
