System Requirements Not Documented

Asked by E. Lewis

This is documentation deficiency - not a software "bug".

Can Ubuntu-One share and synchronize files with computers running other operating systems? I have a Hardy and a Karmic machine on my network. I have a Fedora-11 (another Linux distro) with other Karmics at another location. I collaborate with an individual who uses Microsoft "Vista". Can Ubuntu-One share and/or synchronize files amongst all these machines and users?
It would be most helpful to document system requirements conspicuously at the Ubuntu-One web site.
Thanks in advance for your help.

E.Lewis,
Thank you for the suggestions, these are always greatly appreciated. It is the input from users that makes open source so great.
Currently non-Ubuntu OSs must use the web browser interface to access files, contacts, and notes.

There has also been a lot of discussion on WebDAV support
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntuone-servers/+bug/396725

Here is a wiki page discussing other Linux Ports
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuOne/Ports

There was talk recently of some work being done on a Windows Client. If i find out anything more I will let you know.
Thank you,
