search using 1 word does not result in answers at bottom of document

I do not understand the question. Launchpad-Answers does return questions that contain a single matching word. For example "delete" and "project" return many matches. Search for a word that have never apeared in a project's questions, like "fnord" has no matches (and the page says that).

sorry wrong section
search function in launchpad is straightforward but in the forums it is not

We are preparing for a software upgrade that we hope will assist with this issue. We don't have a specific ETA, but we are trying to make it happen in the next couple of months so we have time to test before the next Ubuntu release.
