cannot log into ubuntuforums with SSO

I'm on ubuntu 16.04 and using Chromium 50.0.2661.102

1. I clicked 'Login with SSO' in the right up corner.
2. I was directed to ubuntu one and logged in with my account.
3. Another page showed up which says I'm going to login to ubuntuforums. Clicked 'Yes, login me in'.
4. Successfully logged in and was redirected to the forum.
5. However, I wasn't logged in at all (unable to post or reply, no personal panel).

This is not a but related to SSO/Ubuntu One or the Ubuntu Forums software. The user's account apparently needs to be sorted out by the UF Staff.
