Warty is the first release of Ubuntu. Warty was released in October 2004.

The Warty Warthog Release (Ubuntu 4.10) established Ubuntu as a new distribution focused on the desktop. It included a live cd and install cd, with current stable tools from the free software community.

The Warty Warthog has no packages recorded in Launchpad.
