I think the autopkgtest failures mentioned on #40 were actually from 2.12.23-12ubuntu2.9 which was later removed from the archive (bug 1709193)

-12ubuntu2.10 has been sitting on the queue for well over a year now, so I'll release it because it was manually tested to be fine (#37) and then we'll see if autopkgtests still fail with the new backport or not
