is there a way to setup and run two cams at once?

You might want to look at zoneminder. I have not used it myself, however.

wow took a look. That is a lot, to do, take in and download. there got to be a easier way to run two cams.

How is that a lot to download?

Go to the software centre, then type in "zoneminder" then click the install button.
