Hello there!
Sorry for disturbing, but since it is an official PPA, I would glad to know you, if you planned to update Zanshin sometime.

Sorry, but you are mixing things:
There are the official repositories,
and there are unofficial personal package archives (PPAs).
An "official PPA" is a contradiction.

I suggest that you create a bug report, requesting that the newest stable version of zanshin be packaged for Ubuntu.
If there are important improvements and bug fixes, this might be done faster, but most probably no more in the upcoming 16.04 release.

For the time being you can try one of the PPAs with a 0.3.* version. e.g. https://launchpad.net/~paulo-miguel-dias/+archive/ubuntu/peppa (standard disclaimer for PPAs: use with caution an on your own risk).
Or you can compile from the original source.
