Asked by Jules

I have two hard drives in my computer/ The larger drive is my main drive That holds my OS and everything else that makes my computer work. The second HD is empty and is not in the boot process, I want to use this to load Ubuntu 9.1. Can I do this without compromising my main HD and wok only with the Ubuntu program?

Yes! of course, download ubuntu, put it in a CD, start your computer with it, try it, and the if you want install it.
During the installation process you can choose where, just select the "small" HD.

If you have a pendrive, and now using ubuntu previous version, you can use that image to make a bootable pen drive and using that to install.

Can you help with this problem?
