Ubuntu Replacement

I have inststalled ubuntu 9.10 desktop and want to switch to ubuntu 9.10 Netbook Remix.
Is this a option?

If you have netbook or sub-netbook then yes.UNR work better on these devices.You can read https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UNR and decide for yourself.

Hi! you can install ubuntu netbook remix from synaptic
(System->Administration->Synaptic Package manager) the package is
called 'ubuntu-netbook-remix' (this package install all the required
dependencies).

ubuntu-netbook-remix is not on the list, do I need to put my cd in

Open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type:

sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude install ubuntu-netbook-remix

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Ok have solved a problem, if you install ubuntu and want to remove, replace or whatever. To remove you need to set to boot only from CD and than there is a program called KILLDISK and you boot from that and it will clear your HD and you can reinstall
