just installed ubuntu ,but need a good cd dvd copying program

just installed ubuntu ,but need a good cd dvd program which copy most type of files ,something on the lines of ashampoo,cyberlink,Roxio which is a free download ,to use on the ubuntu system..the standard braseco is to slow and sometimes does not work..or what can i install to make a windows version work on ubuntu
