Is there a way to switch between open desktops in a screen saver mode

Asked by Bithaul

I would like to have a linux box show some desktops with different applications running in each desktop. then after a set amount of time to switch to the next desktop and keep going until I press a key sequence to stop it. I want ot use this as a display unit and have at least 3 desktops showing a different application in real time. I may need to only access the keyboard about 1 -2 times per year.

Thanks,
Greg Kremer
