boot- up manger

I wish to clean Karmick Ubuntu:
I am following process as described by community and so I have just download Boot- Up Manager from bum ( Universe Repository).
Now, I am sorry but I am just learning Linux based OS, I would open this application to clean the H. Disk: please help me!
where is it the application? how should I search?
Looking in file system would give any results, probably? I tried Catfish and I tried Gnome-app-install.

It is similar to Windows, and I found some usefull advises on the boot up manager official site.
