Fluendo Complete - does not add as gstreamer plugin

Asked by tjagoda

Hello!

I just recently purchased the Fluendo Complete Codec pack from the Ubuntu Store. I have downloaded and installed it (by double clicking on the .deb and hitting 'install'), and it says that it has installed without error.

The problem, though, is that it doesn't actually add itself as a plugin in gstreamer - so it doesn't work. If I go into edit -> plugins, Fluendo is nowhere to be listed.

I am on 64-bit ubuntu, and I purchased the 64-bit complete codec pack. (http://shop.canonical.com/product_info.php?products_id=244)

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!

I ask an internetfriend from the usa to check this, and he confirmed all fluendostuff is listed via synaptic packagemanager and up and running.

I found a fluendo support form I didn't see the first time through their site. Thanks!
