Hy you can try with remastersys

http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/

you can add repository or you can add manually with downloading the deb package from
http://www.geekconnection.org/remastersys/repository/

After installation you can use a gui or a shell
with shell command

remastersys backup my_backup.iso

At the end you have your personal iso.

I hope that it solve your question.
