Error while saving screenshot disk is full

Asked by TheArian

Here's the bottom part of that message:

"Impossible to save the screenshot to file:///home/ubuntu/Desktop/Screenshot-1.png.
Error was Error writing to file: No space left on device.
Please choose another location and retry."

I have 9.10 Ubuntu installed on a 4Gb USB. Also I get similar errors when I download anything from the net (capacity issue). I only have the OS on this USB.

According to: http://www.ubuntu.com/products/whatisubuntu/desktopedition Ubuntu requires at least 4GB of space.. So its quite probable that you are out of space, and wont be able to download or save things.. What's the output of

df -h

in the terminal?

None of this has anything to do with the Tellico source package, can you refile the question under a different package or even move it to the Ubuntu forums, perhaps? Thanks.

Sorry to all. It turns out when I initially formated the USB (4 GB) drive, it was defaulted to only go above and beyone the Ubuntu install by only 128 Mb. So I reformatted again and extended the USB drive for a FULL (3.7 Gb) over the Ubuntu install. Thanks again.
