does this replace other os

and does it work with avg anti virus?

 yes avg has an install for ubuntu [linux] i tried it did not like it toooo slow ;; use virus scanner in the software center listed under system tools ... much faster!!!!! after install go to http://clamtk.sf.net there you can download the updates . they will go to your download file listed under places then open with get it to install ... EASY !!! i got a 64 year old hooked on ubuntu three day ago ,ask that person it they wanted xp back .. no I`M having fun !!

I opted to dual-boot my laptop with Jaunty and Vista (ugh). Occasionally something pops up that doesn't work (well). I can reboot into Vista to see if it's OS dependent. I had a couple of occasions where wireless wouldn't connect to a website unless I connected via Vista first. Odd...

 i dont know much about dual boots ,, or wireless .. mine is hard wired and a tower. if you search the web for the problem your having you may find the answer there . that is what i`m going to do know..

have you tried to update ubuntu sense the problem started ??? you can also check the network connection under system- preference to check to see if the wireless is active.
