Hard disk Crashed, how to recover emails

My, hard disk have crashed, i am not able to boot from my hard disk, currently i am operating pc from pendrive, now i had important emails in .evolution folder.

Though, i am not able to boot from my HDD but i am still able to VIEW folders, i am also able to see .evolution folder which i tried to copy to my home directory,

But it is giving security error, maybe i am not owner of it.

Can anyone suggest method that i can copy that folder, its very important for me,.

Sorry to hear about that crash, now what you want to do is boot from
the live cd, then go to /home and you should be able to copy and paste
the folder to a flash drive.

that didn't worked
I was not allowed to as i was not the same user.

I used command by logging as root (su)
chmod -R a+rwx /media/5f6e5b3e-a172-43ed-bb8a-01694dc604de/*

This changed permission for all contents of my hard drive.

Then i was able to copy .evolution folder.
