USB start up disk creator jacked up My Book

I had a USB stick and the partions got jacked up on it so i wanted to format it.

I selected it and it formated BUT it corrupted my USB My Book. I can see the files but they are all damaged and have crazy characters all over the place. AND my stick format and that is OK.

I have done this many times without issue. How do i repair my corrupted My Book?

I'd suggest you use WD'S own tool for a low level(?) format.
Then start over and partitioning it again.

I tried to recover the 320GB My Book. I tried several partition recovery apps and none of them worked. It appears as if USB Disk Creator jacked up the file tree so bad that my recovered files are useless...

Delete the partition.
Create a new partition and format it.
