i just did updates and my places item are gone...

i just updated and then restarted my pc and under places the only things listed are home folder,desktop, computer,connect to server, search for files the other items are gone ....

Those other items are called bookmarks, you can add them again by
going to places and then add stuff to the sidebar :D
