softwares to open yuotube videos from net

i hav movie player installed but i was unable to open few videos from the website youtube.com.....can u help me? what else should i install to run the videos? thanx in advance..

You need the flash plugin, please run "sudo apt-get install flashplugin-installer" in a terminal. If you still cannot play it, trying playing it in epiphany browser. It could be a firefox problem. To install epiphany, type "sudo apt-get install epiphany" in a terminal window

You also might want to follow the 'adding the repository' section of https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Medibuntu
and then 'sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras'

correction to my earlier post, to install epiphany, the command is "sudo apt-get install epiphany-browser"
