Need audio/x ... decoder plugin

I am a long-time audible.com member. I was attempting to listen to a book by streaming. When I attempted the streaming, I got the following error mesaage: unable to play due to missing "audio/x-gst-fourcc-aavd decoder plugin." Where do I get this plugin?

Also I am unable to download books to my Scandisk Sana mp3 player. Any suggestions?

have you ran:

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras

This will install useful codecs. You can also add the meibuntu repo and install w32codecs (or w64codecs if your Ubuntu is 64bit)
