How do I transfer files to USB stick?

How do I transfer photo files from some downloads to a USB memory stick (1)?
My computer uses USB 1 & 2 memory sticks.
Can't I just click and drag the photos from the computer to a memory stick? If so HOW?

Try open window with Your memory stick and folder with photo, and just drag and drop Your photo by mouse.

You can find You stick on Pulpit or in menu Place.

or just use command line:

# mv /path/to/file /path/to/stick
