uninstall Ubuntu 7.10

How do i uninstall Ubuntu? I have a small hard drive (80G) and this has taken to much space.

Assuming you're running WinXP/Vista/7.

1) Use the Windows CD to first restore the boot method to the one provided with Windows (you will no longer have dualboot and it will start Windows directly).

2a) Now from a partition manager (Right click My computer -> Manage -> Disk Management)
Remove the unkown partitons that belonged to ubuntu , then format them to FAT/NTFS so you can use it for Windows.

Or
2b)
use gparted http://gparted.sourceforge.net/livecd.php from a USB/CD to delete the partitons and increese the size of your existing Windows parition(s).

First do http://members.iinet.net.au/~herman546/p18.html#MbrFix.exe .After that remove Ubuntu partition with Gparted live Cd .
