installing ubuntu 9.10 alternate 64 amd on i86 processor

i hav downloaded ubuntu-9.10-alternate-amd64 iso image
now i m not able to install on my pc
my syatem config is as:
intel dual core
1GB RAM

please guide me

The installation process does not differ from the standard process. Mark "amd64" implies that this version can also be installed to the processor Intel, supporting technology "emt64".
