want to install ubuntu must I uninstall windows xp

I want ti install ubuntu, do I have to uninstall Windows XP. I dont want to many programs on PC

You dont have to uninstall WinXP you can dual boot.
The installer willl guide you and ask you on how you want it.

Yah, dual boot will help you keep both OS's and then you can switch as
your needs require you to :)
