keyboard seems to be mapped funny.

this has happed before and is really frustrating.

6had to reload OS last time. I have to edit each word, what do i do?

System > Preferences > Keyboard

select the layout tab, and remove the keyboard layouts you don't want. Keep the one(s) you do.

Also, logout or lock your computer when not using it.... sounds like someone is playing a mean joke on you.
