Asked by kevishnu

update manager sends message that there is not enough space enough space in root directory (356M) to install updates. Running apt-get clean has not helped and the trash is already empty.

Hi kevishnu,

I have a little tip for you: before run update manager uninstall apps not used and large apps.

Using synaptic you can list all installed apps by size.

Other tip: install a new hard disk and transfer one or more large folders to new disk.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask kevishnu for more information if necessary.
