how to change screen resolution to 1920x1200

Asked by cfgeisler

I have a Gateway 24 monitor that requests 1920x1200 pixel. How can I adjust for that?
Also it needs to receive portrait as well as landscape when the screen is physically rotated 90 degrees.

Do you have any restricted drivers like a video card?

I switched from VGA to DVI and that seems to have corrected the situation. The monitor supports several modes including 1280x1024 which is the maximum on my machine.

The other problem is the switching from landscape to portrait when the screen is physically rotated 90 degrees. This is a software problem. Perhaps I can get help from the manufacturer.
