Hello, if you want to uninstall it, just delete it, or format your partition. You can format it when you are installing a new OS ...

Good Luck

Why do you want to remove Ubuntu? If you do so, you'll render your computer without any OS.

If you want to remove it, you'd probably have to attach an external optical drive, and install another operating system over it. (Or use a flash drive for other Linux variants.)

If your computer came from Dell with Ubuntu, keep in mind that it does not have a Windows license, so you would have to buy Windows if you want to install that.

I have a mini dell inspiron and it already came installed with the Ubunto operating system. I want to remove it so that I can install Windows XP SP2 but the guys from Dell said I need to pay them to talk me through the process so I want to do it myself. I am quite good with computers although I don't want to mess it up so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can you help with this problem?
