Hi probably you have moved into the trash folders with no delete permissions from your user.
To remove those folders you can use "rm" command in shell.
Open a shell Applications->Accessories->Terminal and write these commands:
$sudo rm -r .local/share/Trash/files/*
$sudo rm -r .local/share/Trash/info/*

I downloaded the latest Ubuntu 9.04. Then I just emptied the Trash and they went. Thanks anyway. If I can do anything for you people I will be glad to try. What can I do to help start a group in Hawaii? Thanks again.
