when i log in i don't see my internet icon and i can't go on my internet.

Do you still see a menu (Applications, Places, System)? Can you go to Applications → Internet → Firefox Web Browser?

If so, you can get the panel icon back by going to Applications → Internet, right-clicking on Firefox Web Browser, and selecting Add to Panel.
