I think I`ve caused problems with BIOS. Also made problems with various enhancements (I am partially sighted)
I installed Ubuntu 8.10 using a Computeractive Live CD starter kit .

Could you kindly tell me how to uninstall so that I can do a fresh installation please ?

try looking at your bios vender site for how to reset the bios and also use Gparted to format a create partions

so realy just format the hardrive of where ubuntu 8.10 is installed
