Cannot find network card

Asked by mwredt

I installed Ubuntu Linux on a desktop computer that had a dlink wireless card in it to connect to my home network and
the installation installed the card. I was able to access the internet. For various reasons I reinstalled Linux and this time it did not detect the wireless card and I cannot connect to the internet. What happened.
I am just starting to work with Linux and would really like to use it on my computers but am having a lot of trouble getting to know it and getting it to work.
Any help?

Thanks for the question.

Do you use wap or wpe? I think the first one has currently some problem and others were successful by changing to the second IIRC.

I hope this helps

The above should obviously be wpa and wep.

Can you help with this problem?
