video scrolling jerky

When moving windows or scrolling in a document the display moves poorly. It jerks as the it is not refreshing properly. Also don't know how to check which video card Ubuntu says is installed.

You can learn what video device you have in System / Preferences / Device Manager. You may have to install drivers for it and/or tweak your X configuration to improve performance.

I have the same problem. It also refresh poorly when I, say, click on "system - administration" and it loads the administration list. (it takes less than half a second, but still noticeble)

I think not everyone would notice this, but as I come directly from running Windows, it is quite enoying for me.

I have installed the latest 3d-card drivers for NVIDIA with edgy.

Anyone know what to do about it?
