upgradeed to ubuntu hardy throughupgrade manager
i upgraded from 7.10gutsy to ubuntu8.04 hardy through update manager problem is i dont think im getting hardy uodates i have everything checked in software soyrces but i noticed my third part was still 7.10 gutsy i took it off but my up date manager keeps saying could not find ubuntu hardy error no product key . can some one help thank you

Anything in the source repositories that is not necessary, needs to be removed.
try opening up terminal (applications menu, Accessories) and type
sudo gedit /etc/apt/
Post the result here or in pastebin

Your file is a bit messy.
sudo gedit /etc/apt/
Then place a # before any lines that contain the word "gutsy"
A valid file looks like this, you need to watch out for main' at the end of some of your lines.
