Ubuntu loaded on IBM ThinkPad won't Boot

I put this problem up about 2 weeks ago (No, 36083) recieved 1 reply from PrivateVoid to which I replied. I have recieved nothing since and now can't even find my question in your pages. I have to say I am not good at finding my way though web pages and am totally lost in yours, though I have done a lot of reading here. Help!!

Firstly, you can always find questions you asked by clicking on "Answers" tab (top right of your screen) an then on "My questions" (actions menu on the left of the screen).

Secondly, try following this guide on Ubuntu forums - http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=30535&postcount=7

Thanks, I am begining to find my way arround, I have not had time to try on my laptop, but see that many have been there before me so with the address you left me and all the others I'm sure I'll get it to work. Thanks for the help.
