how do you import thunderbird address book from WIndows XP on dual boot system?

If Win system drive id C:, then go to
C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\<your profile>\
and copy file 'abook.mab' from there to
~/.thunderbird/<your profile>/

Actually, you can copy whole profile folder from windows to ~/.thunderbird/ and correct ~/.thunderbird/profile.ini to point that profile.

Also, you can correct ~/.thunderbird/profile.ini to point directly to your profile in Windows, but thunderbird has some issues with profile on NTFS partition.
