my sound on e-machine D-750 is MUTED
i GUESS I PUSHED A WRONG BUTTON, should be a simple fix

If its MUTED then UN-MUTE it.

Open a terminal (CTRL+ALT+T) and write

    alsamixer

See where is MUTED go there (arrow keys) and hit "m" key to UN-MUTE the channel.
