How to apply Ubuntu Unity in VMWare 7

I am Unable to apply Ubuntu Unity Appearance, Using VMWare
It happens like when i boot the machine, after logging in
For few seconds, the Theme is applied...then it suddenly goes back to Default Basic theme
I am Using Ubuntu 11.04
Please help on my query

What OS and version is the host OS and what OS and version is the guest OS?

My HOST OS is Windows 7 Ultimate, 32-bit 6.1.7601, Service Pack 1
My Guest OS is Ubuntu 11.04
and Im using VMware® Workstation 7.0.0 build-203739

Natty is EOL and no longer supported. I suggest you run a full data backup then spin up a new VM with Precise which will give support until April 2017.
