How to Login As ROOT

I know this is going to sound dumb....
But i need to know how to login as root.
I know the password and username but i need to know were to login.
When i log in on the normal GUI login screen it says
"Administrator can not log in here"
Were do you log into root then?
Your help will be helpful

Hi !

you do not need to log in as root.

to execute a command as root within your usual session, open a terminal, and enter

sudo nameofthecommand

hello i go to applications-accessories-terminal-sudo
but it does not like the command sudo
any help please as i am a complete novice at linux-i am used to windows,is there a linux program that i can install that will enable me to run as if i am running windows?
