How do I make the windows bigger?

it is hard for me to read alot of it because the words are so small. I am wondering just how I would be able to make the windows that I have open bigger. I have looked around with the system and can't find it. I would very much like if anyone could let me know just how to do this.

You can adjust the font size using System -> Preferences -> Font type.

You can also lower the screen resolution using System -> Preferences -> Screen Resolution.
