More information is needed.
First, what version of Ubuntu are you using? You can run the following command to find out:
$ lsb_release -a
Is this a networked printer or directly connected to your PC? Connected to the USB or parallel port? Give the output of the following command:
$ lpstat -v
What driver are you using, give the output of the following command:
$ grep "*NickName" /etc/cups/ppd/*.ppd
Do you have an idea since when it has stopped working?

Since upgrading from Dapper to Feisty my Canon BJ200 no longer prints. The connection is direct to LPT1. The job appears in the print queue but stays there. Deeply puzzled.
