splitting windows in openoffice

What is the equivalent of the reorganisation or splitting command in the Window menu in Word, which allows you to work in two different parts of the same file at the same time, or to show several files on the screen at the same time - the command arranges them horizontally, vertically or in a mosaic? Thanks,

With OpenOffice 2.3 you can work on different part of documents by opening the menu Windows -> new Window (there may be some little name difference, i use italian version) you can arrange the Window as usual.
You can also send opened windows ( by clicking with the right button mouse on every window top caption bar) to different desktop work area...
