im facing problem installin xine player... it says file is unsatisfiable... how to install it... help im a newbie to linux....

help me in installing XINE PLAYER.... it says installin the file is unsatifiable....error...imlib.in

1. i downloaded it from a site using firefox.
2. whet i try to run as gtk file... installer starts n gives the message installation unsucessful...

pls reply soon..

Hello !

The correct way to install software is to use System > Administration > Synaptic Package Manager.

There, you can search for xine and install the package related.
