Bad sectors on disk

My disk failed fcdsk test, which means I have bad sectors on the disks , how do I fix them?

try booting into recovery mode. log in as root when it asks for a password, dont do ctrl-d.

then do the command 'fsck'

should that spew out a help file or something. try

fsck /dev/#your linux drive ID, eg hda hdb, sda, sdb

i think that program fixes errors if it can
