cannot uninstall adobe reader 9 in Lucid

Asked by Joe Beall

I'm trying to uninstall Adobe Reader 9 from my Lucid computer. I want to run xpdf as my default reader. When I go to Ubuntu Software Centre and click on the "Remove" button for Adobe Reader 9 nothing happens. Any ideas? Perhaps a command through Terminal (which I don't use very much)?
