accidently deleted Application Menu, System Menu & Places menu icon from the top panel. How can I get them back?

I have accidently delete the Application Menu, Places Menu, System Menu icon from the Main Menubar.
  How do I get them back?

Right click the panel, choose "add to panel" and under "utilities" section choose "Main menu" then press the add button.

How about running #gnome-panel in a terminal if I didn't have one?
Or unset with #gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/panel and then #pkill gnome-panel

Was about to leave subject on this same issue.

One minute had menus then next I didn't . . . I tried this idea and it worked like a charm.
